I use Vaseline Intensive Care too! It really works!
I use different lotions in the winter as I think my skin needs changes and not the same one all the time…. eucerin is wonderful, coconut oil lotions are great, aveeno and johnson’s has some great options too… I have at least 5 to 7 options in my bathroom at all times. We have eczema in our family, so the dry skin in the winter can get bad, as well as the eczema flaring up….

I’ve never read any research on it but I find, also, that switching up the cremes and lotions works better. Even alternating seems to make a difference. It’s like my skin only responds to one or two days of the same treatment and then gets bored.
I am loyal user of Oil of Olay. It’s a nightly ritual.

I use hydrated petrolatum for my younger son, all year round, because he has eczema. I don’t use anything for me, except various Clinique moisturizers on my face. I may have to start moisturizing other spots though, as my skin’s not looking quite like it used to!

Just started to notice the chapped skin of winter! For my face I use a cream from The Face Shop for sensitive skin but lather anything on the rest of me. I like Aveeno too.
