82 Day Street: Renovation In Progress by Developer

TTL Development LLC is renovating 82 Day Street in the Auburndale Village of Newton. He also happens to be my husband so I have a little inside information.

82 Day Street has views of the 3rd hole at Brae Burn Country Club (and shh! There is a great sledding hill directly behind the house as well!).

His architect is Peter Sachs and he’s come up with some great improvements to the house including:

    • 2 car garage at ground level. The current garage is in the basement but the driveway is too slippery in the winter to actually use it.
    • Expanded and completely renovated kitchen. He’s thinking black honed granite and white cabinets like his previous project at 8 Araphahoe Street.
    • A new wraparound deck is going to be added off the back that make a nice entertainment area.
    • A new master suite will be added.
The new front of the house will include an addition to the left for the garage.

The back of the house will include an enlarged deck.

Custom Tutus: To Help Kids at Children’s Hospital with Heart Defects

    custom tutus,

Tutu Pour Mon Deux is an inspirational apparel company dedicated to making a difference and giving back – in hopes of spreading awareness about congenital heart defects in newborns.

One-third of our proceeds is donated to Children’s Hospital Boston, where our daughter underwent corrective heart surgery at just four days old. 1 in 100 newborns are born with a CHD, and our hope is to help change that statistic through Tutu Pour Mon Deux. Our mission is positive and our medium is our custom tutus.

The best part…together, Mom & Daughter can virtually design, and customize a special outfit that will rock any girls wardrobe. Our web-site is fun, interactive and easy to navigate. With more than a dozen original patches and ribbons to choose from, the tutu t-shirt can be as unique as the little girl wearing it. The colors are as happy and vibrant, and come in sizes ranging from 18 months to 6T.

A custom tutu is a great way to embrace your little girls individuality, imagination and spirit, while making a difference in the lives of other children so they, too, can dance around like a princess with their imagination.

You would be involved in brainstorming ideas for new programs and recruiting teachers to work for NCE.

The ideal candidate for this position is an elementary school parent who has been involved in the PTO and has some awareness of other Kids program offerings around Newton.
