●Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to understand complex software systems; experience with several stages of the software development process
●Excellent hands-on debugging skills; knowledge of debugging and testing tools and techniques; similar knowledge of a modern Web application framework
●Engineering problem solving approach; ability to deconstruct and isolate failures into smaller work items
●Understanding of networking and web protocols, automated testing approaches, and monitoring/logging techniques
●Ability to work in a very fast paced and flexible environment
●Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
●Engineering bachelor’s degree; preference for majors in IS, IT, CS, or other computing-related field
●Development experience in Python
●Development experience in Objective-C and/or Android
●Experience with UI test automation frameworks
●Identify, recommend and implement automated test frameworks to support testing our applications
●Create and maintain a suite of automated test cases
●Build software infrastructure to help simulate and test specific device subsystems
●Perform performance analysis on current and potential future hardware and software platforms
●Investigate defects in our product, isolate and log in our bug tracking system
●Document and execute automated test cases
●Analyze technical features and help write their comprehensive test plans
●Submit detailed defect reports
●Review technical design specs and provide recommendations on specific testing challenges and strategies
●Perform ad-hoc testing
