The Centre Street Food Pantry and the Newton Food Pantry need food during the summertime.
Schools are not running during the summer, and kids who get some of their meals at school still need to eat!
Examples of nonperishable items to donate are:
– Peanut butter and jelly
–Canned meals: soups, stews
– Grains: pasta, rice, cereal
– Canned vegetables and beans
– Baby products: diapers, wipes, formula, infant foods
– Hygiene items: toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, etc.
– Paper products and household items: toilet tissue, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, etc.
