Barry’s Bootcamp Open Winter 2017 at The Street
BARRY’S BOOTCAMP WILL OPEN WINTER, 2017
What has been dubbed “the best workout in the world” is coming to The Street. Barry’s Bootcamp is slated to open at the property in Winter, 2017 at 55 Boylston Street Chestnut Hill, MA, neighboring Bernard’s restaurant, Pottery Barn and lululemon.
Barry’s Bootcamp first originated in Los Angeles in 1998, delivering The Best Workout in the World® to a legendary following, including A-list celebs, models and even Olympic athletes. Through its franchise business model, locals Dustin Martin and Brian Weller opened its first Boston location in Downtown Crossing in 2013.
The studio’s signature workouts can burn up to 1,000 calories in just one hour through 25-30 minutes of interval cardiovascular treadmill routines and 25-30 minutes of strength training utilizing a range of equipment, including free weights, resistance bands, and medicine balls. Muscle groups and even workout segments vary throughout the week so that no one class is ever the same. The technique works to “shock” the body in the most efficient and effective way, improving students’ cardiovascular system, helping with weight loss and building muscle. World-class trainers lead the high-energy classes in a studio with dim, red lighting and a booming sound system.
The location at The Street will feature a 50-person studio, fully stocked men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a customized Barry’s Fuel Bar, offering healthy smoothies, juices and snacks. Classes will be available seven days a week and offered at both drop-in rates, class packs and “academies.”
“While we still have a build-out ahead of us, we’re looking forward to unleashing the red room on The Street in 2017!” says co-owner Dustin Martin.
