Friends of the Fells Forest Kindergarten program
We are a five week program that seeks to provide children ages 4-10 with opportunities to play in and learn about nature. We are a non-profit with only three permanent paid staff and we couldn’t even start doing outreach until last week.
The program starts on the 18th. Bordering on five different cities in Metro-North Boston, the Middlesex Fells Reservation is easy to access.

Pumpkins and homemade baked good are for sale to benefit the church.

Pumpkins are sold by the pound.
The Pumpkin Patch is open through October 31.
Unsold pumpkins will be given away in November 1st.
Use the pumpkins for autumn decorating both outside and in your home!

Institute on Columbia Point in Boston on Saturday, October 29between 10 a.m. and 3p.m.
Kids: What if you could choose your ideal president?In an effort to engage young people in the upcoming election, the Institute is hosting its first-ever Kid Convention. Bring your family and work together with fellow Senators-in-Training in the Institute’s replica Senate Chamber to discuss the qualities of an ideal leader and what issues might be important to focus on this fall. Pru BOO Event for Kids
Prudential Center to Partner with Teal Pumpkin for Annual PRU BOO Event
Prudential Center, Boston, will host its annual PRU BOO indoor trick-or-treating and family fun event on Sunday, October 30. The event will benefit Horizons for Homeless Children, a non-profit organization that provides high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and family support services to more than 2,000 homeless children each week in Massachusetts.
This year Prudential Center Boston has partnered with Teal Pumpkin Project to provide non-food items to be handed out in select stores in an effort to raise awareness for food allergies and promote the inclusion of all trick-or-treaters.
Prudential Center will open its doors at 11am to hundreds of families from Greater Boston to enjoy “store-to-store” trick-or-treating, a performance by Stacey Peasley as well as a variety of activities provided by popular Boston attractions, including Boston Duck Tours, the Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, The Freedom Trail Foundation, and more!
Schedule of Events
11:00am – 1:00pm: Trick-or-treat and children’s activities
1:30pm: Performance by Stacey Peasley (South Garden, weather-permitting)
With a $4 donation to Horizons for Homeless Children, participants receive a trick-or-treat bag that provides access to trick-or-treating at more than 50 stores and restaurants at the Prudential Center, along with other fun family-friendly activities. Presenting sponsor, Star Market, will provide candy.
Trick-or-treat bags can be purchased at Prudential Center’s Customer Service Desk starting October 1, and at check-in stations located in Center Court and at the Boylston Street entrance starting at 9am the day of the event.
Parking for the day is $16. Parking passes can be picked up at PRU BOO check-in stations.

NewTV’s FREE House of Haunts
It’s that time of the year again when ghouls and goblins will be out looking for a scare! NewTV’s fourth annual House of Haunts is a free family-friendly event offering fun and games for the kids, a costume parade, a scavenger hunt and more.
The event runs from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, October 27th, NewTV Studios 23 Needham Street.
