Chinese Historical Society of NE Annual Dinner
The Chinese Historical Society of New England (CHSNE) annual meeting and dinner is just a few weeks away—Wednesday, September 24—at China Pearl restaurant in Boston.
This year, CHSNE will be honoring Boston Dragon Boat Festival, Inc for its 35-year dedication to promoting and sharing a Chinese tradition on the Charles River, across New England and beyond! Additionally, CHSNE will be hosting John Kuo Wei (Jack) Tchen—co-founder and senior historian at Museum of Chinese in America, co-author/editor of Yellow Peril: An Archive of Anti-Asian Fear (2014), and senior historian to New-York Historical Society’s new exhibit opening later this month–Chinese American: Exclusion/Inclusion.

CHSNE continues to be committed to its mission to preserve and promote the legacy of Chinese Americans in the New England region since the post-colonial period. We urge you to help continue its work by your participation and support at the annual meeting and dinner.
(Also note, there are student tickets available for $35, just contact Susan Chinsen for more information at chsneboston@yahoo.com).
