According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), women are 100% more likely to visit the doctor for annual examinations and preventive services than men. In fact, men are less likely than women to visit the doctor until they’re experiencing the symptoms of a serious ailment. In response to these startling statistics, Newton-Wellesley Hospital is hosting its first annual Men’s Health Fair & Car Show on Sunday, September 21 from 9am to 1pm. Bring your husband, brother, son or other man in your life to this free, community event, held on the hospital campus at 2014 Washington Street, Newton.
Keep your health in mint condition by taking advantage of a variety of FREE health screenings while perusing a display of classic, vintage and hot rod cars. In addition, attendees will enjoy music and food and can even receive a free flu shot.
