Summer can be a tough time for adoptable adult cats. People walk in and are immediately smitten by an adorable kitten and often overlook many fabulous older felines! Please consider an adult cat.

Animal Rescue League of Boston currently has 60 cats between the ages of one and five years.

On top of that, they have 16 cats in our shelters that are over five years old.

Sadly, their average stay in the shelter is 31 days. That’s a long time for a kitty to be waiting for a home! Don’t these cats deserve to be living out their golden years in a loving home?
