Summertime FREE Events at The Street
The Street announces the return of its beloved series, Summertime at The Street, a fun, seasonal celebration with 150 different forms of entertainment for all ages. This year, Summertime at The Street places a new emphasis on free fitness classes while maintaining its popular kid-friendly fun activities and live music series, with performances by up-and-coming local artists and students from Berklee College of Music’s prestigious program, Summer in the City.
Summertime at The Street will take place every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday beginning on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. The series will once again conclude with a Pops Concert and Picnic with the 50-piece New Philharmonia Orchestra on Saturday September 19th. All events are free, open to the public and hosted on The Green at The Street, directly across from Shake Shack. The Street is located at 55 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill, MA; www.TheStreetChestnutHill.com.
With Summertime at The Street, The Street is excited to exceed expectations for its shopping experience, give guests additional ways to enjoy its well-edited and ever-growing collection of luxe retailers and restaurants and offer creative ways to enjoy summer’s rays. The series also enhances new additions to the property, such as the public art installation, Objects of Desire, by acclaimed photographer Jessica Craig-Martin, upcoming summer openings of Juice Press and MiniLuxe, and al fresco dining options found at The Cottage, Shake Shack, and Legal Sea Foods.
