Winter Soccer Training for Boys and Girls
GPS Boston SAQ Winter Program
Take your performance to the next level this Winter!
Sign up for our 6-week gender specific program, developed by our international soccer performance specialist for U13-U19 players, focusing on soccer specific strength training, injury prevention, core conditioning, speed, agility and quickness.
Players will also be educated on all of these elements of performance so that they take ownership of their personal performance in the future.
Location: Suburban Athletic Club (Sundays: 5-6pm Girls, 6-7pm Boys), AND/OR Charles River School (Mondays:5-6pm Boys and Girls). Length: 6 Weeks (Sunday January 15th – Sunday 19th February)Times: Sundays : 5:00pm – 6:00pm (GIRLS), 6:00pm – 7:00pm (BOYS). Mondays: 5:00pm – 6:00pm (Boys and Girls)
Cost: $175 for one day OR $250 for Both Days
Ages: U13 – U19 Boys & Girls Players will be split into appropriate age groups.

The GPS-MA Premier program is for young players who aspire to achieve excellence in their game. Our emphasis is player-centric with development the number one priority. We focus on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of individual players on a pathway towards maximizing their full potential. The winning tradition that has been established over the past decade is based on each player improving significantly over the time they are with the club.

FREE Reading Program for Kids at Historic Newton? Interest?
My name is Max Metz and I am the Manager at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds of Historic Newton. I contacted you on Facebook about an idea we have been thinking about at our museums and I wanted to ask if anyone would be interested in a FREE reading weekly activity for kids that we would host.
So, the idea is to give a free option for families during the week, I was thinking about offering a reading day once a month at the museum where we would pick a book to read to the kids and or watch a short educational film related to the book’s content. It would be an hour long program and free for parents and kids.
Does this sound like something parents would be interested in? Would there be a better day of the week or time for families?

FREE Live Performances: First Day… on the Second!
FIRST DAY AT THE MOSESIAN CENTER FOR THE ARTS
The Dorothy and Charles Mosesian Center for the Arts is excited to announce the return of First Day… on the Second!
The second annual event takes place on January 2nd from 11am to 2pm and features live performances from Magician Evan Northrup, Saxophonist Tim Hall, and a Broadway Sing-Along. The Center will also host Visual and Performing Arts workshops for children to experiment with paint, paper, collage, performance, movement, and more!

This new way of teaching kids uses modified nets and balls so everybody can succeed, learn quickly and have a blast! Presented by the world famous Newton Parks and Recreation Tennis staff.
